Tertom Lite · Early access

Privacy & terms

Tertom Lite runs on the Tertom host. This page explains what the service stores, where information may be sent, and what to expect while Lite is in early access.

Effective 27 September 2026

What Tertom handles

Account. Signing up stores your email address, display name, a password hash, account and app status, and session records. A secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

Ingot. If you are granted access, Ingot stores the portfolio information you enter or upload, extracted holdings, price and value history, and saved chats on the Tertom host. Lite account data is kept in a separate account database. The site operator manages the host and may need access to operate or restore it.

External services. Ingot sends chat content and statement images used for extraction to OpenAI. It requests market prices from providers including Finnhub and CoinGecko. Cloudflare carries traffic to the site and may process connection information. Those providers handle information under their own policies. Do not upload a statement unless you are comfortable with its image being sent to OpenAI.

Backups. The host makes local backups. Earlier copies of information may remain in backups after it is changed or deleted. Off-device encrypted backups are not yet in place.

Manage your information

You can change your display name and password in your dashboard. You can download an export of your account details and Ingot database there. The export excludes passwords, sessions and API keys.

Deleting a Lite account removes the account record, saved API keys and active Ingot database, then signs you out. Download an export first if you want to keep a copy. Earlier backup copies may persist after active data is removed.

Using Lite

Lite is an early access service. Creating an account does not guarantee access to Ingot; the operator currently approves accounts and app access. Features and availability may change as the service develops.

Use your own account and only upload information you have permission to use. Keep your password and any API keys you add private. If you add your own provider key, you are responsible for that provider's charges and terms.

Ingot's prices, calculations, and AI responses can be incomplete or wrong. They are tools for exploring your information, not financial advice. Check important figures against your own records before making decisions.

This page may change as Lite gains features. The effective date above will change when its contents do.
